The Rattler is armored creature that spits a stream of burning acid at prospectors before before coming closer and attacking with its insect like maw.
Behaviour
Similar to the Strider when no prospecters are around the Rattler sleeps or wanders around looking for potential prospecters. When it notices a prospecter it makes a loud insect like screech, before it starts charging up its acid spitting attack to try killing the prospecter
When a Rattler notices prospecters by either seeing or hearing them it screeches at the prospecters, informing other Creatures nearby about the prospecters being around. Then it will start attacking the prospecter.
Combat
When the Rattler notices a prospecter from seeing or hearing the prospecter, it will either charge its acid spitting attack or come crawling towards the prospecter fast for a melee attack. The acid spitting attack can be dodged easily by moving in any direction except towards the Rattler. If the Rattler comes in for a melee the prospecter can either shoot it risking taking the damage from the attack or climb a nearby ledge to avoid the damage.

The Rattler has one variant, the Elite Rattler
Elite Rattler
The Elite Rattler is a white version of the Rattler with black and brown legs, its a stronger variant of the Rattler with boosted stats like damage and hitpoints.
