Data Drive is a Common item found as loot on Fortuna III or bought from the store at ICA.
In-Game description
A data drive. Data can be improved at an Uplink, or the drive exchanged for K-Marks.

Data Drives come in 5 different levels of rarity: Common > Uncommon > Rare > Epic > Legendary
The "Epic" rarity Data Drive is identified on its item card - and in jobs and campaign missions - as "Valuable Data Drive".
The "Legendary" rarity Data Drive is identified on its item card - and in jobs and campaign missions - as "Unique Data Drive".
Where to obtain Data Drives
Upon reaching level 3 with ICA, the ICA Market will allow you to buy Common Data Drives. You can also find any rarity of Data Drive out in Fortuna III; however, most prospectors would rather buy them.

How to upgrade Data Drives
- Buy a Data Drive from the ICA Store for 300 Krypto Marks. Data Drives can also be found as loot on Fortuna_III.
- Store the Data Drive in your Backpack and deploy to Bright Sands.
- Travel to either the South East Uplink or North Uplink.
- Find the Terminal and insert the Data Drive in to the socket and start the download.
- Repeat the process until the desired Data Drive rarity is obtained.
