Prospector is a term used in game when referring to the players. Hired by various factions, prospectors are the only ones skilled, courageous, or perhaps foolish enough to drop onto an uninhabitable planet ravaged by a radioactive storm at the edge of space. They must be ready to mine for precious materials, scavenge abandoned settlements, hunt vicious creatures, and recover lost treasures while fighting rival prospectors to ensure a safe evac back to the station.
