-The K-28 Pistol is the first available side-arm in the game, capable of delivering a properly conditioned [[Prospector]] to a safe Evac. It is also the cheapest purchasable weapon, and is available immediately from the [[Quickshop|QuickShop]] in the center of the [[Station]]. The K-28 Pistol runs on [[Ammo|Light Ammo]] and is a semi-automatic; therefore, with a base magazine size of 12 and a base damage of 12, the user may expect upwards of 144 damage per clip, potentially fired in a minimum of 1 and a half seconds, assuming perfect aim. The pistol itself seems to be based off a standard issue [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1911_pistol M1911], or perhaps a [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colt_2000 Colt 2000] with muzzle modifications, both recognizable in the architecture. In-game, the weapon seems to be built by an unrecognized corporation, though hints are abound, pointing to an older distributor which preceded the current Factions, though this theory is unfounded as of yet. Within the wiki, the faction is listed as "[[Station]]", until more information can be found in regards to the maker of this weapon.
