End of Season 2
Before Season 3 begins, there are still some content and changes hinted as coming during end of Season 2.
- More information and teasers weekly[6] leading into S3.
- Possibility of a short wipe before S3 have been mentioned by Feralus[7] in response to request, then reiterated[8] and later clarified[9] as most likely only being (if possible) an optional wipe for willing participants.
- Possiblity of providing occupation and entertainement during the extension of S2 was mentioned by Justin to be looked into.[10]
- End-season event is coming again for Season 2 wipe, according to the Frosty Frontier Fest Livestream, with changes in how it works and what it involved. Yager have taken feedback from the previous event in consideration for this.
- Re-iterated and confirmed on discord by Feralus.[11]
- Potential hint that there might be a reward for the end-wipe event was also given by Feralus on discord but nothing concrete.
- The Event is still coming but at a later date due to the change in date that S2 ends.[12]
Season 3
Season 3 is fast approaching and will contain many changes and additions to the game. For more information on those changes, please visit the Season 3 page.

- Additional item details, such as values on different attachments are in the works[22]
- Correction to mineral-scanner text, in order to make it clarify that you can outline objects and people in smoke[23].

- New Events
- Mid-Season Events has previously been hinted at being possible but was recently brought up as hopefully being possible Mid-season"once things are more... stable" by Toast[27]
- Events are being worked at as stated in the Frosty Frontier Fest Livestream
- Seasonal Rewards Some form of permanent reward for participating in seasons, such as cosmetics, were hinted at by Toast on Discord[28], as a possibility in the future. In the Frosty Frontier Fest Livestream it was revealed that this is likely to be seen in the End-season event for season 2.
- Public Test Server is being worked on as a feature for players to help test upcoming content and patches. According to the Frosty Frontier Fest Livestream[29] it is actively being worked on and hopefully we can see the first itteration of it soon.
- Name change feature has been in the talks for a while and was once said to be available "hopefully sooner rather than later..." by Justin on Discord.[30]
Hinted content and rumors
- Item-bartering: Potential barter systems to get different items by trading in other items has been hinted at several times as an alternative to player-trading (which is not endorsed by Yager), recently it was hinted at again during G-Star QnA[31]
- Leaderboard/Ranking: During G-Star QnA it was hinted that[32] some form of way to measure which Prospector that is the best is being looked into.
- New NPC's and NPC-loot: More enemy types as previously announced will be coming to TCF and during G-Star QnA it was hinted that[33] there will possibly be some form of enemies that might drop Weapons and Gear in the future.
- Potential Waypoints that are shown on compass/map, but not as a ping, has been hinted at being looked into[34] in a response from Feralus on Discord, to a suggestion made by Jaunus.[35]
- Fixes and updates to audio has been hinted as being fixed/looked into by Feralus on Discord.[36]
- Work-around for bunny-jumping has been hinted at as being looked into by Feralus on Discord.[37]
Currently known issues
Known issues from latest Patch-notes
- Hunter Vision will remain disabled for now as we're still trying to figure out issues with it.
- Weapons
- There are multiple hit registration issues present at the edge of the AOE when shooting with the Komrad.
- No-reg hitmarkers and kill markers reports are being investigated by the team.
- Fortuna Pass
- Claiming an Archetype displays duplicate body parts beside it (Chest, Gloves, Boots).
- After completing one level purchase in the 'Fortuna Pass', the next consecutive purchase displays the icons of items from the previous purchase.
- Gear visibility
- In match, Prospectors doesn't see their Backpack (can be evident when emoting) but can see other Prospector Backpacks.
Known issues from previous Patch-notes
- Player Reporting
- It can happen that you get stuck when reporting another player. A restart will fix this and we have it on our "to fix ASAP" list.
Known issues mentioned outside Patch-notes
- Further issues with spawn locations[38] are being investigated and possible cause of them have been found.
- Some loot-crates are visually shown as closed, but might already be looted/does not transition into opened graphically after looting them.
- Insurance not giving any payout is being looked into according to Justin in a message on Discord.[39]
