  3. Miner Cam #A45D

Description

  1. Miner Cam #2F53: Camera belonging to a Jamie Faulkner. The last video file is damaged, but the audio is of a large crowd demanding to be let in before suddenly cutting off.
  2. Miner Cam #D027: Owner named only as Temporary. Last video shows several workers running out barricaded buildings and towards a clearing with a guarded ship being loaded with ore. Video cuts off after the owner appears to trip and fall.
  3. Miner Cam #A45D: Camera belonging to a Mayumi S. Nagao. Video shows her being pushed out of a cargo ship by a Korolev Heavy Trooper and falling into the mud. Video cuts off shortly after an eruption of gunfire is heard around her.

Story

Korolev wants the Prospector to collect the three miner cams to handle some matters before the journalists arrive. Korolev claims that the camera's contain footage of site workers being killed by creatures. They state that the site's workers refused to follow evacuation procedures. The Dig Site paints another picture though: evidence of a strike by workers are all over the site and Fortuna III. The site is littered with body bags of dead workers, as well as bullet holes, burnt ground, and other evidence of a battle. The Miner Cams are next to body bags as well. It is likely that Korolev put an end to the strike by killing the strikers, and that evidence of this event are on those cameras. Korolev likely wants the cameras to get rid of the evidence.
